Philosophy :

Christian Kindergarten Readiness Preschool exists to provide a loving, learning experience in a Christian environment. The program is designed specifically for four year olds who need this year to blossom into a child who is ready for the increasing rigors of kindergarten. I believe in developing a child’s self-image and confidence .

Goals:

The Christian Pre-Kindergarten program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten. The  classroom and curriculum is so organized as to encourage attentiveness, involvement, and creativity in an enjoyable environment.  An important part of our goal is to make this environment rich in Christian character, helping the children to practice these character traits themselves.

We strive to help children

  1. A. Grow  emotionally: to accept themselves and others  and to develop self-expression and independence through creative activities; to recognize that well being based upon positive attitudes and practices.

  2. B.Develop physically:  practices which develop gross motor skills, eye and hand coordination, and fine motor skills through games and projects that are presented throughout the year.

  3. C.Develop positive social behavior habits in preparation for kindergarten: to help recognize his or her need to interact as part of the class.

  4. D.Prepare for the academic learning process of kindergarten : areas such as phonics, writing their name, scissors skills, alphabet, numbers, etc. are examples of skills we routinely teach throughout the year.

We strive to incorporate the values Jesus taught throughout His daily living.  The bible says in Galatians 5:22, “The Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self control.” (GNV)

This is the spiritual value system I demonstrate to my students.  Your child will be exposed to conversation and actions that demonstrate God is real and loves each one of us and that the Bible is God’s Word and is true.  As a matter of course, each child will become familiar with stories in the Bible which demonstrates these positive character traits and learn  about prayer and praise  through the teacher.
